Social Media + Community Coordinator
FULL TIME – 40hr / w

CHRISTCHURCH BASEDThis role sits at the heart of how we show up online and how we look after our community. You’ll manage our organic social media presence from content planning and scheduling to filming and editing. You’ll also keep our community feeling seen and supported, including managing our Facebook group, organising community events, fulfilling book orders and planning podcast episodes.
ABOUT TWO RAW SISTERSFounded by Margo and Rosa, Two Raw Sisters started as a way to share what food had taught them - through Margo’s experience healing from Chronic Fatigue Syndrome through whole ingredients, and Rosa’s recovery from a disordered relationship with food after years of competitive sport.
Two Raw Sisters is a recipe app empowering women to cook with confidence - through achievable recipes, education that sticks, and a community that inspires.
Key Responsibilities –
Social Media
Collaborate with Brand & Content Manager to populate the organic social media calendar across Facebook, Instagram, TikTok and Pinterest keeping it aligned with the broader marketing calendar and content pillars
Create, film, edit, and schedule content that sounds and looks like TRS
Monitor social media trends and identify opportunities that fit the brand (we’re not jumping on every trend, just the ones that feel like us)
Execute daily posting and scheduling across all organic social media platforms
Contribute to paid social media content as needed
Collaborate with Head of Business & Recipe Development to leverage key partnerships and create engaging social media content
Support campaign content across key moments including seasonal and promotional campaigns
Assist with content shoots - both as support on the day organising food and supplies, and as a creator in your own right
Podcast Planning
Support co-founders with podcast episode planning - researching topics and identifying guests
Assist with repurposing podcast content for social media - pulling out moments that will resonate with the TRS community
Influencer Engagement
Identify and connect with influencers to support TRS’ influencer strategy
Support Head of Marketing with influencer briefing and content approvals
Community Support
Manage social media DMs, comments, Facebook group posts and general enquiries inbox daily - always in the TRS tone of voice
Draft polite declines and template responses for common queries
Flag messages that need our co-founders’ input
Spot recurring questions or themes and report them back to the team
Manage and track member testimonials
Community Event Operations
Liaise with venues for workshops and events, managing run sheets and back-and-forth logistics
Draft workshop schedules and assist with ticket pages
Manage workshop partners - keeping them informed and organised
Coordinate food and supply orders for workshops
Support and create content on the day of events and talks as needed
Book Sales
Track and report on monthly book sales
Manage and fulfil book orders
Insights & Reporting
Monitor content performance across social platforms and recommend adjustments to the content plan based on insights and results
Stay across algorithm changes, platform updates, and emerging trends in social media - and tell the team what’s relevant
Attend the weekly WIP and channel performance meetings to provide updates on ongoing projects, social media performance, partnership content performance, community queries, and event operations
What We’re Looking For –
Capabilities
Strong understanding of Facebook and Instagram (must-have)
TikTok and Pinterest fluency is a bonus, not a requirement
Confident content creator - you can film, edit, and publish without a lot of hand-holding
Excellent written communication - you can write in a brand’s tone of voice and make it sound natural
Organised and reliable - you’re the person who doesn’t let things fall through the cracks
Understanding of social media analytics and reporting

Experience
1+ years in social media, content creation, community management, or a similar coordinator role
Experience with content scheduling tools and social platforms
A marketing or communications qualification is a bonus, not a requirement
