Learn to make easy, fresh and delicious plant-based food using New Zealand's beautiful produce. Workshops range from learning how to create raw desserts, salads, the essentials of a raw diet, detox, sports nutrition and fermentation.
Currently all workshops are held at our commercial kitchen in Rolleston. Once you book, more detailed information will be sent to the email address you provide.
28 June - Raw Essentials - $110
6:30pm - 9:00pm
Learn the essentials of a raw plant-based diet including nut milks, chickpea-free hummus, green tahini dressing, green smoothie and raw granola.
Not just for people on a raw diet this workshop is perfect for anyone who is conscious about what they are putting into their body and/or wanting to start a whole food plant-based lifestyle.
29 June - Raw Desserts - $110
6:30pm - 9:00pm
Learn the basics of raw desserts including raw chocolate, basic cheesecake/tart/ball base, lime avocado mousse, lemon curd and chocolate velvet truffles to name a few. Using little to no nuts and without the soaking times cut the negative rap that raw desserts are difficult, expensive and time consuming to make, with all recipes being made in under 20 minutes.
So grab some friends (or yourself) and come and eat our favourite meal of the day with us.
30 June - Adult Lunchbox - $110

Learn to prepare easy, yummy plant-based lunches to get you through the week! Including salads with crispy chickpeas and spiced roast pumpkin, 2-minute miso noodles plus snacks like cookies and energy bites to beat the 3pm crash. We will also go over organisation and show you, through good food preparation, on how to get in the habit of bringing healthy lunches and snacks to work.
1 July - Living on a Budget (perfect for students) - $40

People often have the perception that plant-based food is expensive, time consuming and difficult to make, however in this workshop you will learn how easy and money efficient it can be. Learn wholesome, easy to prepare meals that any skill level can make. From hearty bean hot pots in 15 minutes, baked kumara with turmeric tahini herb sauce, to on the go breakfast and snack options such as granola bars and PB bircher muesli, this workshop is perfect for students or anyone starting out on a whole foods lifestyle.
22 June - Winter Warming Desserts
6:00pm - 8:30pm
Learn warming satisfying desserts to impress friends and family or for those cold winter nights snuggled up on the couch. Dessert techniques include a focus on both raw and cooked.
Spiced walnut stuffed baked apples w/ almond butter coconut sauce, brownies w/ banana ice cream, banoffee pie and cinnamon chocolate covered nuts will be some of the indulgent deliciousness you will experience during this WINTER ONLY workshop.
23 June - Sports Nutrition

Learn to make pre, during and post training that will fuel your body into a better athlete. During this workshop we will be going over pre, during and post training food options with a focus on getting your nutrient needs through food rather than store bought products. This will include plant-based proteins and making protein bars from REAL food rather than using protein powders, homemade electrolyte drinks instead of Powerade, pre-workout granola in place of pre-workout bars just to name a few.
Plus, gain individualised advice on how you can train more effectively and efficiently.
24 June - Woman’s Beauty and Health

Beauty comes from the inside out, meaning what you consume into our mouths and put on our skin, has a massive impact on our overall health and outside appearance. From detox food recipes such as cleaning green soup, maca mocha tonic and tart cherry sleep balls to making our own natural moisturisers and body scrubs, come and learn a natural and holistic approach to beauty and wellness with us.
We believe in the power of food to heal and nourish not only ourselves, but the environment around us. That's why we live by our True Food philosophy; use the best ingredients, treat them with respect, use raw techniques with culinary level execution.
In 2017 we graduated in a variety of courses from a World Class Vegan Culinary School- PlantLab in California. Courses included Plant-Based Sports Nutrition, Elite Plant-Based Sports Nutrition, Culinary Nutrition, Level 1 Fundamentals of Raw Cuisine and Level 2 Advanced Raw Cuisine.
Rosa is close to finishing her Degree in Human Nutrition at Ara and Margo is studying at the Naturopathic College of New Zealand.
