People often have the perception that plant-based food is expensive, time consuming and difficult to make, however in this workshop you will learn how easy and money efficient it can be.  Learn wholesome, easy to prepare meals that any skill level can make. From hearty bean hot pots in 15 minutes, baked kumara with turmeric tahini herb sauce, to on the go breakfast and snack options such as granola bars and PB bircher muesli, this workshop is perfect for students or anyone starting out on a whole foods lifestyle.

19 August - Fermentation - $120 - LIMITED SPACES

Multiple studies show that if you have any sort of health issue or simply lack in energy you should always start by fixing the gut. Fermented foods are becoming more and more popular within the food industry nowadays due too their high levels of pre and probiotics which are the building blocks for good gut health. However, with a price tag of $15 for a 500ml jar of kimchi buying fermented foods off the supermarket shelves can be an expensive exercise.
Come and give your gut and back account some lovin’ by learning how to make kefir, kombucha, fermented coconut yoghurt and cultured cheeses. Plus, BYO jar to take home your own SCOBY to start your own kombucha!
You won’t believe how cost effective and health enhancing fermented foods can be.

24 August - Advanced Raw Desserts - $110

Ready to take raw desserts to the next level? Expand your skills by learning more complex raw culinary techniques such as using plant-based thickeners such as agar agar to make vanilla panna cotta, irish moss to ensure your cheesecakes don't melt,  ice creams without an ice cream maker and emulisifers.
We are going to cover a lot + try some true taste sensations!! 

25 August - Powered - $110 - LIMITED SPACES

Designed for anyone with an interest in health and fitness, looking to strengthen their practice and learn about how plant-based foods can really boost the workings of your body. This workshop covers the most efficient sources of plant-based proteins, fats and CHO as well as recovery foods and importance of fats for mental focus. Recipes will include recovery shakes, pre- workout bars, clean desserts, high energy snacks and endurance crackers.

26 August - Entertaining at Home - $110 - SOLD OUT

Got friends/family coming round and stressing about what to cook and how to impress them?
We have you covered with recipes ranging from finger food such as zucchini, lemon, basil + chilli on seeded crackers and kumara, cashew + coriander fritters with tahini coconut yoghurt. Salads including Green freekah with herb paste and caramelized onions and double chocolate hazelnut cheesecake bites for dessert.
Come along, have a glass of wine and eat and learn how to make delicious plant-based food. 


SEPTEMBER

7 September - Raw Desserts - $110
6:00pm - 8:30pm

Learn the basics of raw desserts including raw chocolate, basic cheesecake/tart/ball base, lime avocado mousse, lemon curd and chocolate velvet truffles to name a few. Using little to no nuts and without the soaking times cut the negative rap that raw desserts are difficult, expensive and time consuming to make, with all recipes being made in under 20 minutes.
So grab some friends (or yourself) and come and eat our favourite meal of the day with us.

8 September - Sports Nutrition - $110
2:00pm - 4:30pm

Learn to make pre, during and post training that will fuel your body into a better athlete. During this workshop we will be going over pre, during and post training food options with a focus on getting your nutrient needs through food rather than store bought products. This will include plant-based proteins and making protein bars from REAL food rather than using protein powders, homemade electrolyte drinks instead of Powerade, pre-workout granola in place of pre-workout bars just to name a few.
 Plus, gain individualised advice on how you can train more effectively and efficiently.

UberEats becoming all to familiar in your household? During this workshop you will learn quick, easy and cost effective delicious dinner options in UNDER 20 minutes or less. Including Asian Peanut Noodle Stir-Fry , Middle Eastern Roasted Vegetables with Pomegranate Molasses and Nourishing Green Goddess Soup just to name a few.


21 September - Adult Lunchbox #2  Spring/Summer Edition - $110

Learn to prepare easy, yummy plant-based lunches to get you through the week!
Strong believers in eating seasonally, as we get into the warmer months produce changes.
Join us for our SUMMER EDITION of adult lunchbox.
We will also go over organisation and show you, through good food preparation, on how to get in the habit of bringing healthy lunches and snacks to work.

23 September - Spring into Spring - $110

Celebrate the first day of spring by learning some fresh, light meals as we get into long warm evenings.
Plant-based recipes to help improve overall health and wellbeing, weight-loss and rejuvenation to shake off the winter blues in preparation for summer.

For anyone who is looking to focus on their overall health and wellbeing. We all know that for our bodies to perform at its optimal level we need to nourish it to feed the millions of metabolic pathways which occur within the body every second.
Ideal workshop if you are starting on a plant-based diet and want to make sure you are getting all the correct nutrients. E.g which plant-based foods have the highest sources of iron and Vitamin B12.

11 November - Healing the Gut - $110

There is a direct link between the gut and the brain. With the vast development of processed ‘ready-made’ foods filled with artificial colours and flavours and inedible ingredients that are greatly affecting our hormonal balance, inner workings of the gut and our micro flora which then has a ripple effect as to how the rest of our body works, making stress, tiredness and illness three very common words in today’s world.
If you have anything at all wrong with you start with the gut!
Learn how to reset your gut and get to the peak of health and wellbeing.

17 November - Summer Eats - $110

Fresh, light summer meals for all times of day as we head into the warmer months.
